We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Engineer to lead our engineering team in the development and implementation of innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digitalization, capital expenditures, and utility management. This role requires strategic vision, leadership skills, and a commitment to operational excellence. 1) Leadership and Management: - Oversee the engineering department, providing guidance and support to engineering teams. - Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 2) Digitalization Initiatives: - Drive the digital transformation of engineering processes through the implementation of advanced technologies. - Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate digital tools and systems, enhancing efficiency and data management. 3) Capital Expenditure (CapEx) Management: - Develop and manage the engineering budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. - Lead CapEx projects, from conception through execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgetary constraints. 4) Utility Management: - Oversee the design and maintenance of utility systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards. - Implement strategies for energy efficiency and sustainability within utility operations. 5) Project Oversight: - Lead engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and performance standards. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with business objectives. 6) Regulatory Compliance: - Ensure all engineering activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations. - Stay informed about changes in regulations that may impact engineering operations.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or higher - Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering management, with a focus on digitalization, CapEx, and utilities, Automation in FMCG company - Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale engineering projects. - Strong understanding of digital technologies and their application in engineering. - Excellent financial acumen related to budgeting and CapEx management. - Proficient in utility management and energy efficiency practices. - Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
