Job Overview And Responsibility
As the Tech Manager at VUS EdTech, you will be responsible for leading and scaling the software engineering team, driving technical excellence, and ensuring the successful development and operation of VUS’s digital education platforms. (1) Design and develop technical architectures of groundbreaking software solutions for VUS digital educational products and platforms. (2) Lead, recruit & develop VUS Edtech software engineering team, helping them to unleash their full potential and maintain high standards & quality of work. (3) Manage and enhance workflows with internal Product, Design, and cross-department stakeholders, ensuring effective technical solutions, resource allocation, and cost planning throughout VUS's digital product development cycle and operation. (4) Closely work and collaborate with the scrum project management team to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of product features and system enhancements. (*) You’ll lead a well-established software engineering team of 10 to 15 developers across Backend, Frontend, DevOps, QC, and Mobile.
Required Skills and Experience
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS - Profound experience in Golang, Postgres/Mysql - You have professional experience with cloud (AWS, Google Cloud Platform or Azure), containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). - Familiar with NextJs, Flutter/Dart - Have advanced knowledge of complex software design, distributed system design, design patterns, data structures, algorithms and protocol. - Excellent data analytics skills and ability to explore and identify data issues. - Profound experience with CI/CD, SCM, Prometheus, Grafana, building and deploying infrastructure with cloud deployment technologies - Familiar with mobile game engines and development platforms - Decent knowledge in payment gateway integration with e-wallets (momo, zalopay, etc.), internet banking, visa master, in-app purchase, etc. is a BIG PLUS. - Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to an agile team of developers, thus helping them improve their technical and soft skills QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Strong professional background in an agile development environment, with a proven track record of developing viable and successful digital products at scale. - 3+ years of experience in mobile or frontend development. - 5+ years of backend development experience, with a preference for expertise in Golang. - Recent and minimum of 04 years in building and leading high-performing software engineering teams, demonstrating effective team management and technical oversight. - Have a good command of English and can confidently collaborate with external partners/stakeholders.
