Job Responsibilities Strategic Communication Leadership - Develop and execute integrated internal and corporate communication strategies aligned with Prudential’s business priorities and cultural values. - Champion storytelling initiatives that humanize the strategy, highlight impact, and inspire a sense of purpose among employees and agents. - Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders on messaging, internal engagement, and reputation-building opportunities. Internal Communication & Culture Enablement - Strengthen internal communication frameworks and rituals to ensure clarity, consistency, and two-way dialogue across all levels. - Partner with HR and leadership to embed company values into the employee experience, culture programs, and key organizational changes. - Drive initiatives that boost employee and agent engagement, pride, and advocacy. Corporate Affairs & Stakeholder Engagement - Oversee and manage external-facing corporate communications, including media relations, executive visibility, and CSR positioning. - Collaborate with corporate partners, industry bodies, and community organizations to amplify Prudential Vietnam’s thought leadership and community impact. - Support crisis communication preparedness and reputation risk management efforts. Leadership Support - Support the CEO and leadership team in preparing speeches, Q&As, messaging frameworks, and strategic narratives for both internal and external platforms. - Ensure alignment of corporate messaging across all communications channels. Governance & Operational Excellence - Manage communication budgets efficiently with a focus on maximizing earned media and strategic value. - Monitor media and public sentiment, extract insights, and adapt strategies accordingly. - Lead and develop the communication team, fostering a culture of creativity, agility, and continuous improvement. Job Accountability 1. Business Impact: - Lead corporate communications by working out the strategic communication campaigns and manage execution to support Prudential Vietnam business objectives and build Prudential Vietnam as community and industry role model. 2. Planning and execution: - Drive effective internal and external communication, taking into account the business context at regional & local levels to engage stakeholders at all levels, to increase share voice & influence stakeholders & corporate partners. - Leverage success stories to promote PVA products and services, and leverage CSR communication to promote PVA's image. 3. People Development: - Develop and grow team, ensuring correct standards for all work are carried out and that they feel respected, listened to and recognized through regular performance reviews.
Qualification: - Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field. Master’s is a plus. Experiences & Competencies: - Minimum 7 years of experience in Corporate Communication or PR, with strong internal communication experience. - Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and work cross-functionally. - Experience in life insurance, finance, or complex, regulated industries preferred. - Excellent storytelling, writing, and verbal communication skills in both Vietnamese and English. - Strong cultural awareness, empathy, and ability to translate business strategies into engaging narratives. - Demonstrated leadership and ability to thrive in a dynamic, purpose-driven organization.
