Job Overview And Responsibility
• Overview of financing matters; be conversant in the various loan agreements which Keppel Land entities have entered into with external financial institutions, and procedures on funding requirements • Liaise with related parties (Finance ground team, Finance/HQ, Business Development Dept, etc.) to prepare and arrange periodic forecasted funding requirements for all Vietnam projects, including capital injection, intercompany advances, shareholders’ and external loans • Liaise with banks, Corporate Finance team, and Group Legal in HQ for project financing, including reviewing project cashflow, credit agreement terms and conditions, and relevant documentation such as mortgage, collateral agreement, corporate guarantee, etc. • Review and propose optimal loan structures for new funding requirements, such as USD and VND portions, shareholders' loan and external loan structures to maximize Keppel shareholders’ interest • Assist Finance operations team in reviewing existing credit facilities and structures; propose alternatives including prepayment and derivative products (Futures, Forwards, Swaps, and Hedging) • Support Finance operations team in registering offshore loans and corresponding with the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) • Negotiate with banks to obtain the best fixed deposit (FD) rates and forex rates for all projects in Vietnam • Periodically review online treasury reports, including FD rates for all Vietnam projects, to maximize FD returns and ensure compliance with HQ policies and procedures • Conduct internal audit reviews to ensure Finance teams comply with internal policies; identify lapses and recommend performance improvements • Stay updated on new policies and regulations related to corporate finance; conduct periodic internal briefings/training for Finance operations teams • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Required Skills and Experience
• 5–10 years of relevant work experience • Strong leadership capabilities • High computer literacy, especially MS Excel for financial simulation • Analytical thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently
