Operations Logistics Supply Chain Procurement
The Purchasing Executive is responsible for the purchases allocated to him/her and to ensure it is adhered to the company purchase guidelines and policies. Key Responsibilities • Source for materials globally • Negotiation for the most competitive price • Negotiate for the most competitive term and conditions • Monitoring the delivery of the purchased equipment or items • Ensure the equipment or items purchased meets the specification given. • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials and equipment.
Requirements • Diploma / Degree in relevant Engineering / Supply Chain Mgt • Knowledge on local and overseas sources for materials and equipment’s. • Knowledge on markets pricing for material and equipment. • Effective negotiation skills • Knowledge on the use of commercial documents used in purchasing (L.C., BG’s, Etc.) • Knowledge of SAP for generating of Purchase Order • At least 2 year of relevant experience in the Logistics/Supply Chain industry.
