We are looking for an experienced Application Engineer to drive local application strategy and solution development across key industries in Vietnam. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, and Regional Business Units to accelerate revenue growth, strengthen market presence, and ensure successful adoption of solutions. You will act as a technical and application expert, supporting customers, channel partners, and internal teams while leading initiatives across Energy, Oil & Gas, Electronics, Semiconductors, Automotive, and Heavy Industry. Key Responsibilities Application & Market Development - Develop and execute localized Product Application Strategies aligned with regional business objectives and revenue targets. - Drive application development and solution positioning across key industries including Energy, Oil & Gas, Electronics, Semiconductors, Automotive, and Heavy Industry. - Lead assigned strategic initiatives to grow local revenue and market share. Technical & Sales Support - Provide high-level technical and product support to local teams, end users, and channel partners. - Support sales teams with application knowledge, value selling materials, pricing/performance comparisons, and competitive insights. - Build and maintain a competitive knowledge database, including price/performance maps. Product & Marketing Collaboration - Manage new product introductions, including PR activities and post-launch follow-up, to ensure strong market acceptance. - Work closely with Marketing to develop localized content, campaigns, and collateral to drive awareness, demand, and conversion. - Maximize product mindshare within the sales organization through training, promotions, and marketing initiatives. Market Intelligence & Strategy - Analyze market demand, customer profiles, and competitive landscapes to support Sales and Marketing strategies. - Interpret market sizing and competitive analysis reports for specific product groups. - Stay up to date on technology developments, industry trends, and evolving customer needs. Training & Enablement - Lead and support training, education programs, exhibitions, and customer/partner events to ensure effective delivery of new initiatives. - Support management in developing strategic goals and tactical plans for key product groups and focus industries.

Qualifications - Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical / Electronic Engineering required; MBA is an advantage. Experience: - Minimum 5->7+ years of experience in application engineering, automation, or industrial solutions. - Experience about monitoring the health and performance of rotating equipment, identifying potential failures before they occur, and carrying out precision alignment activities to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency. The role supports predictive maintenance programs through vibration analysis, laser alignment, balancing, thermography, and other condition monitoring technologies. - Vibration analysis on rotating equipment including pumps, motors, compressors, fans, turbines, and gearboxes. Perform condition monitoring surveys and inspections using vibration analyzers, thermal cameras, ultrasonic instruments, and oil analysis techniques. - Precision laser shaft alignment for rotating machinery. - Strong background in Energy, Oil & Gas, Electronics, Semiconductors, or related industrial environments. - Experience working with industrial channels, distributors, or channel marketing is highly desirable. Skills & Competencies: - Strong application and solution mindset with analytical and research capabilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English; Mandarin/Chinese language skills are a plus. - Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. - Team-oriented, commercially minded, and adaptable to changing market conditions. - Mobility: Willing to travel frequently.
