At Asia Apex Alliance, you won't just manage supply chains, you'll build the operational backbone for luxury, tech, and hospitality leaders across APAC. As a prominent member of the Trilien Group, we pride ourselves on driving efficiency and excellence across global networks. We are looking for a rigorous, analytically-driven Junior Accountant to join our on-site team in Ho Chi Minh City. In this role, you will serve as the financial gatekeeper for our logistics operations, ensuring high accuracy in freight costing, vendor variance reconciliation, and day-to-day bookkeeping. Acting as a critical bridge between operations and corporate finance, you will help secure the financial health of supply chains that power luxury, tech, and hospitality leaders across APAC. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Freight Audit & Cost Control: Execute end-to-end verification of complex logistics invoices, including international freight forwarding, domestic trucking, customs brokerage fees, and ancillary charges (demurrage, detention, storage). - Vendor Management & Reconciliation: Reconcile monthly statements of accounts (SOA) from global shipping lines, airlines, and local logistics vendors against internal operational milestones and standard rate sheets; identify and resolve billing discrepancies aggressively. - Accurate Ledger Maintenance: Record accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions accurately into the accounting system, ensuring proper cost-center allocation for regional APAC client projects. - Month-End Closing Support: Assist in preparation of accruals for unbilled logistics costs at month-end to guarantee the integrity and completeness of financial statements. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the Logistics Specialists and procurement teams to streamline the "Procure-to-Pay" workflow and optimize cash flow timing. - Tax Compliance Assist: Prepare documentation for VAT compliance, import-export tax reconciliations, and support statutory audits as required by local Vietnamese tax regulations.
Kỹ năng và kinh nghiệm tối thiểu
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. - 2 years of experience in accounting; prior exposure to logistics, supply chain, or forwarding fields is a solid advantage. - Good command of English (both written and verbal) for internal and regional reporting. - Proficiency in MS Excel and exposure to professional accounting software. - High attention to detail, proactive attitude, and ability to handle on-site collaboration efficiently.
