Job Overview And Responsibility
- Plan, deploy, and maintain DWDM, OTN, NMS transmission systems in core and metro networks. - Perform commissioning, integration, cut-over, and acceptance testing for DWDM equipment. - Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability and low latency. - Troubleshoot transmission issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate with operator for resolution. - Support capacity planning and migration projects to meet growing bandwidth demands. - Document network designs, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting procedures. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IP Core/Metro, GPON) for end-to-end service delivery.
Required Skills and Experience
- Education Background Requirements: Bachelor or higher, major: Telecommunications technology, or related fields. - Hands-on experience (3-7 years of experience) with DWDM/OTN equipment (Huawei OSN 9800/8800/1800, etc. or similar). - Strong understanding of optical transmission technologies (DWDM, OTN, ROADM, EDFA, RAMAN, ASON, CDCF, coherent optics). - Experience with NMS platforms (Huawei U2000/NCE-T, etc.). - Able to communicate effectively in English both spoken and written - Family with Microsoft office, Excel, Power point - Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and manage parallel time-critical tasks - Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment - Ability to Travel as needed

Preferred skills and experiences
- Huawei HCIP-Transmission or HCIE-Transmission. - Optical networking certifications (e.g., Ciena, Nokia).
