Responsibilities - Perform hull detailed design and production engineering using AVEVA Marine software. - Develop 3D structural models including plates, stiffeners, profiles, and primary supporting members. - Prepare production drawings such as assembly drawings, profile sketches and structural fabrication drawings. - Generate plate nesting drawings and material take-off (MTO) for shipyard production. - Ensure compliance with class rules, client specifications, and shipyard construction standards. - Coordinate with Piping, HVAC, Electrical, and Outfitting disciplines to resolve interface and integration issues. - Support yard production by responding to technical queries and updating drawings as required.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related field. - Minimum 2 years of experience in hull detailed design and production engineering within shipbuilding projects. - From 3-5 years of experience in engineering design, in shipbuilding, offshore structures, or marine engineering is an advantage. - Proficient in AVEVA Marine software for 3D modelling and production drawing development. - Strong understanding of ship hull structure, fabrication processes, and shipyard production workflow. - Familiar with class rules, shipbuilding standards, and technical specifications. - Ability to read and interpret basic design drawings and convert them into detailed production information. - Good coordination skills and ability to work effectively with multi-disciplined teams. - Responsible, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting tight project schedules.

Preferred skills and experiences
- Experience in basic design for naval or commercial vessels. - Familiarity with FEM/FEA tools (e.g. ANSYS, NASTRAN, SACS). - Experience in lifting analysis and temporary structure design. - Experience with design software (e.g. AutoCAD, AVEVA Marine, or similar) is an advantage.
