Job Overview And Responsibility
- Lead a team of up to 10 engineers across cardiac integration, backend, mobile, AI, QA and DevOps. - Join the client's planning, break work into tickets, and set the team's estimates. - Own the code review process: Set expectations, conduct reviews, and ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code. - Establish and enforce coding standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices across the team - Interview and help hire the rest of the team. - Run the daily overlap with the US team (4-7 pm US Pacific) and escalate blockers early. - Make sure the team follows the program's data-access policy and the client's security rules.
Required Skills and Experience
- 8+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years leading a team of 5 or more. - 3+ years working directly with a foreign client team. - Hands-on with TypeScript, React or React Native, and a backend language such as Node.js, Python or Go. - Experience with cloud apps on AWS and automated build pipelines (CI/CD).
