Job Overview And Responsibility

Support the Software Manager in all assigned projects and collaborate closely with clients, development teams, and internal colleagues to meet project requirements. Facilitate, prioritize, and enhance communications for internal and external clients. Key Responsibilities: - Collaboration with Product Owner and Development Team: Refine requirements and contribute technical insights to ensure backlog items meet the predefined Definition of Ready (DoR). - Team Development Management: Work with the Scrum Master and Development Team to create and manage the development plan through iterations to achieve team goals and objectives. - Product Design and Feasibility: Participate in product concept design, high-level design, and technical feasibility studies (demonstrated through Spikes and Proof of Concepts). - Architecture and Design: Design architecture and both high-level and detailed designs for assigned services, ensuring compliance with the overall product architecture. - Software Quality Assurance: Ensure software quality by performing code reviews and ensuring that features and user stories meet the Definition of Done (DoD), including coding conventions, unit tests, and non-functional requirements. - Best Practices Development: Collaborate with the Software Manager to define and develop best practices and tools for project execution and management. - Mentorship and Leadership: Act as a mentor and leader to other developers on the team. - Build Process and Integration: Oversee the build process, release candidates, and system integration for the entire product, adhering to established standards (DevOps tasks). - Collaboration with UX/UI Team: Work with the UX/UI team to develop system design and apply it to the UI tasks of the team.

Required Skills and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field - 5 - 7 years of experience in Software Development and Management - 2+ years in leadership role with scale of around 5 engineers - Experience working in an Agile team - Strong skills in code quality management, including efficient code review techniques, unit test coverage, coding practices, and CI/CD practices - Strong knowledge of advanced Java programming, including networking, concurrency, thread-safety, non-blocking I/O, security, and high performance (Java 8+) - Strong understanding of design patterns and coding principles - Ability to design highly customizable, available, and scalable systems - Proficient in generalization and abstraction for conceptual design from specific requirements to productization - Familiarity with Linux systems and ability to manipulate them - Deep understanding of Docker and Docker Swarm; capable of building, running, and deploying containerized applications, with familiarity in Dockerfile and Docker Compose syntax
