Job Overview And Responsibility
1. Budgeting & Forecasting - Organize historical data and provide insights/ baselines for budget owners to build bottom-up budget. Identify budget gaps vs top-down KPIs. In case there is a gap vs plan/budget, work with other business teams on mitigation plan - Coordinate with budget owners to develop initiatives to close the gaps - Finalize KPIs and tracking performance throughout the year - Monthly rolling forecast to reflect current market conditions 2. Management Reports: with variety of dimensions including PL by store, PL by channel and Margin tracking - Monthly management reports - Weekly performance review 3. Cashflow and capital management - Cash flows and balance sheet – key ratios and analysis - Capital plan – capital requirements; status of bank facilities; dividend plan - Working capital facility analysis – working capital profile of the business; best way to finance working capital needs; appropriate working capital facility (size, terms, strategy to use, etc.) - Forex exposure and strategy to mitigate – quantity exposure; how to address and mitigate - Investments and ROI – marketing, capex - EVA (5-Year Plan) 4. Ad-hoc Analysis - Support Manager on delivering ad hoc request/projects - Suggest improvements to financial processes, participate in related projects & Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment in area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies
Required Skills and Experience
1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field 2. Experience: - At least 3-5 years of working experience, prefer Big 4 experience or 2-3 years of experience in Corporate Finance Experience in Commercial/Operational Finance within FMCG Retails companies is advantageous 3. Work related skills - Proficiency in Finance and Accounting reporting - Proficiency in conducting Excel analysis and generating reports - Business planning and analysis skills - Good speaking and writing English skills - Power BI skill/knowledge is a strong plus
