Job Overview And Responsibility

The OTC Product Manager will oversee our range of OTC products, including but not limited to, oral contraceptives, emergency contraceptives, condoms in Vietnam and expansion into Cambodia and Laos. The PM will lead the development of regional marketing objectives, strategies and then execute the plans all the while ensuring we’re building strong product portfolio and branding. In addition, s/he will need to do market research, training, field visit and content creation. This role is required to provide strategic, critical and innovative thinking, operational excellence and consumer centricity to accelerate product, business and market development and growth across our OTC portfolio. • Planning, developing marketing strategies and implement tactical plans to ensure marketing and sales objectives for a particular product or group of products are met. • Develop short and long-term plans, analyse market research findings, prepare budget, evaluate inventory requirements, design promotional campaigns and integrate management inputs to establish the strategic direction of the product in terms of profit, sales, market share, growth and desired market positioning; • Plan strategies, evaluate factors for effective branding of the product; optimize pricing based on market price dynamics; facilitate adaptation of product packaging to local setting; manage product life cycle in view of initiatives for new indications, extensions, modifications and other life cycle strategies • Setting up product strategies and objectives according to the company strategy; • Ensure that product marketing strategies and tactical programmes are developed and implemented to improve market performance; • Facilitate implementation of market intelligence strategies; analyse competitive market information & prepare competitor counter; • Finding out developmental opportunities, assessment of possibilities of new product launching; • Understands the customers and environment: conducts market research if necessary; • New product development & launching; • Product budget expenditure in line with the plans; • Building the closed relationship with distributors and key customers; • Develop advertising, promotion and communication campaigns; • Supporting field force reach sales target; • Conduct training for Sales Rep, partners as needed, including Product Knowledge, Obstacle Handling and Promotional Materials; • Work with Sales to be aware of sales forecast and Finance to follow up the product forecast. • Work closely with Trade marketing to do field visit, ensure the trade plan aligned with product strategies/plans and support Trade marketing to deploy the plans consistently. • Follow up goods shipment and production. • Co-ordinate with regulatory department to follow visa registration situation & have plan to re-new or new registration; • Ensure all business activities in compliance with the company, corporate and industry code of conduct; • Address logistical and administrative requirements to ensure availability of necessary resources product; • Fulfill any additional task if requested by Senior Product Manager/ Marketing Director.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor/master’s degree of Pharmacy, Medical, Marketing, Business Administration. • At least 3 years of working experience in similar position, strong experience of working with distributors, pharmacist, healthcare professionals, pharmacy chains, traditional pharmacy, modern trade, general trade, other OTC channels. • High motivation level with strong drive achieve result contribute to company’s profitability, willing todevelop; • Professional personal appearance, creative, enthusiasm, team work, hard-working, reliability, strong communication, under pressure of work, independence, confidence. • Multi-tasking, someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple projects at once, while solving for the highest priorities first. • Able to work on field and business traveling. • Fluent in Business English
