Job Overview And Responsibility
Coaching engineers in your team to design and implement secure, scalable, and impactful solutions. Delivering code and architecture to our AEM platform, lifting quality, security and delivery speed. Aligning practices across AEM squad and our Next.js squads. Developing a new integration allowing to use our Next.js to present AEM content. Working at a senior level across the programme team, collaborating with architects, engineers, and customer experience experts. Self-organising your own priorities, you will facilitate rapid decision making for the team. Shaping how ANZ delivers on their commitment to providing great customer service through technology.
Required Skills and Experience
Your AEM knowledge should cover version 6.5 and the following aspects: Java 1.8 Dispatcher configurations AEM component development OAK, JCR, Sling AMS Demonstrable web or application development experience including defining application architecture. Proven experience working with JavaScript and Java 1.8, into an AEM context. 2+ years working with React, or similar framework. Ideally you have been exposed to Next.js. Strong understanding of software engineering principles. Ability to demonstrate UI design literacy and a solid understanding of WCAG Accessibility 2.0, Level AA or higher. Experience with backend unit testing and familiarity with testing libraries Experience working in internationally distributed teams. Good ability in English

Preferred skills and experiences
AEM Cloud Service (Nice to have) To demonstrate working within cloud environments such as GCP, AWS or Azure. Experience with setting up and working with continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment (CI/CD). with a type system, or a willingness to learn.
