As a Customer Service Executive, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing bookings while maintaining high standards of service. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth communication between customers, principals, and internal departments. You will manage bookings from request to confirmation, ensure all necessary approvals are obtained, and handle any issues that arise during the process. Key Responsibilities: - Schedule Management: Update schedules and send them to customers upon request. - Booking Management: + Receive booking requests from customers. + Clarify and confirm booking details with customers, principals, or other departments, including rates, equipment availability, space, and approvals for special cargo (DG/OOG/RF). + Advise customers if further information, documents, or applications are needed to process the booking. - Booking Creation: + Create bookings in the principal's system. + Secure carrier bookings/space for both local and transshipment cargo. + Confirmation & Amendments: + Release booking confirmations to customers. + Handle booking amendment requests. + Send booking forecasts to the Operations team and feeder services. + Update principals or overseas agents upon confirmation or changes if requested. - Issue Resolution: + Solve problems related to bookings. + Send loading confirmations and delay notices when necessary. + Arrange transshipment import cargo to SEA countries.

Keahlian dan pengalaman yang dibutuhkan

- Fluent in English (written and spoken). - At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the shipping industry. - Familiarity with booking systems and working in coordination with multiple stakeholders. - Strong understanding of shipping operations, especially related to DG/OOG/RF cargo. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
