Management Management Ruby on Rails Team Leader Engineering
- Manage multi-product teams to build and deliver products on engineering standards and ensure code quality. - Evaluate multiple technical solutions, balancing performance, scalability, maintainability, and cost. - Ability to create and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. - Be the voice of reason between speed and quality. - People management(1:1 meeting, personal development & training plan, career path, probation reviews, and performance reviews); - Coach teams in applying Scrum and DevOps and be responsible for continuous improvement of the teams. - Lead initiatives for implementing efficient development and delivery processes.
- Background in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Information System - 10+ years of experience in software development - 8+ years of experience in managing web projects or product development - Have worked as a senior Ruby On Rail software engineer or higher - Experience in handling/building an engineering team (direct or indirect) of 20+ members, organizational agility - Excellent problem-solving skills, especially in dealing with escalated or critical issues - Good experience in people management: employee satisfaction, career growth, performance review, coaching, mentoring, 1:1 meeting - Good experience in Agile: Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, LeSS) and practices - Strong knowledge of security and robust high-performance system - Good experience in microservices, micro-frontend, and multi-tenant architecture design/implementation - Experience in solving complex requirements/problems both business and technology such as: Finance System, Accounting System, Banking System, Distributed System, Scalable web applications - English skills (professional working proficiency)
