Principal Responsibilities Technical Networking presales take responsibility for specifying and designing solutions based on their technical expertise across one or more technology domains including networking as primary and network security as secondary domain. The individual in this position takes responsibility for the successful overall technical design of the solution to meet a client’s business requirements. Pre-Sales activity • Engage with the customer in consultative phase, capture customer’s technologies decision making process, help the customer in selecting technical solution. Hence selected candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of major manufacturers in target technologies • Select and apply appropriate design standards, methods, and tools, consistent with the agreed enterprise and solution architectures and ensure that these are effectively applied and adopted. • Contributes to the development of solution architectures in specific business, infrastructure, or functional areas. • Defines and manages to scope requirements definition and prioritization activities for small-scale changes and assists with more complex change initiatives. • Designs components using appropriate modeling techniques following agreed architectures, design standards, patterns, and methodology. • Provides pre-sales technical support and expertise in analyzing client requirements, in conjunction with the client’s current infrastructure, architecture, system capabilities, and business challenges. • Ensure technical solutions accomplish the client’s objectives. • Work with Solutions Architects to produce a technical specification for the solution’s custom development and systems integration requirements. • Develop the technical design document to match the solution design specifications. • Lead the scope of work determination, solution pricing, and RFP/RFI responses and assist with the decision to pursue or abort a deal. • Make alignment with Delivery team of successful implementation and operation before commercial proposal to the customer • Manages client proof of concept (POC) initiatives, which require the appropriation of appropriate resources, and setup and delivery of the POC. Delivery activity (Better to have) • be responsible for implementation of Network solutions in autonomy or within a team – LAN/WLAN/WAN, DC, legacy and SDN topologies, • work closely with the architect of the project and participate in the design phase, • create technical documentation – LLDs, network device configs, migration plans, instructions for technicians, test scenarios… • cooperate with suppliers of hardware and their support services when necessary during projects and operations, • support the client’s operations and apply appropriate troubleshooting methodology in the context of incidents and projects.
• 3+ or 5+ years of experience in implementation of Cisco LAN/WLAN, DC and/or WAN network solutions • Cisco CCIE Enterprise Networking certification is big plus • good knowledge of SDN solutions - in particular Cisco SD-WAN, ACI • knowledge of Cisco Meraki and Azure networking services is an asset, • deep knowledge of network security - in particular PaloAlto, Fortinet • experience in working onsite in client facilities, • editorial skills and English language proficiency • good administration and project documentation experience, • communicativeness and enthusiasm in relations with the clients and colleagues, • entrepreneurial attitude and proactive sharing of knowledge, • In-depth understanding of network concepts, protocols, and technologies. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Bachelor's degree with Computer Science related experience, • Fluent English
