Job Overview And Responsibility
• Designing, programming, debugging and modifying software enhancements • Interacting with internal and client teams and users to define requirements and modifications • Participating in software design, technical requirements, coding and testing • Working with Client Implementations, Training, and Client Support • Maintaining, testing and integrating application components • Ensuring system improvements are successfully implemented • Demonstrating an understanding of FIS systems and the financial services industry
Required Skills and Experience
• A bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other related discipline, or equivalent experience • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in C or C++ • Experience handling Payments Products and Solutions, mainly focusing on Switching, Card Payments & Fraud Prevention Solutions • Experience providing professional services in implementation • Experience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and standards • Knowledge of financial industry practices, regulations, and operations • Fluency in sequence diagrams, class models, etc. • Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines
