Job Overview And Responsibility
Main responsibilities: ■ Accounting and Finance - Daily bookkeeping, and management and reconciliation of supporting documents (invoices, receipts, etc.) - Accounts receivable and accounts payable management, verification and clearing of incoming and outgoing payments - Reviewing expense reimbursement claims and processing them in the books - Compiling data required for monthly closing, balance confirmation and reconciliation - Monthly reporting to the Japan HQ and support for period-end closing - Preparing and reviewing documents required for corporate income tax, business tax, and other tax filings - Liaising with the local accounting firm and handling accounting and tax inquiries - Liaising with the Japan HQ accounting department and responding to accounting-related requests from HQ - Establishing, streamlining, and systematizing accounting workflows ■ General Affairs and Administration - Managing company assets (equipment, fixtures, etc.) and various contracts - Maintaining and supporting the office environment so sales members can focus on their core work - Liaising with the Japan HQ general affairs department and handling internal procedures ■ Tools - Communication: Slack - Workspace / schedule management: Google Workspace - Accounting software: Money Forward - Expense reimbursement and approvals: Bakuraku - Attendance management: Jobcan
Required Skills and Experience
Required: - 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in Vietnam - Business-level Japanese (at least from N2, JLPT certificate is not required)
