- Define and own the technology roadmap for game server infrastructure: high-concurrency architecture, low latency at global scale, and long-term scalability - Lead the design and implementation of auto-scaling, load balancing, and player state management across large server clusters - Set cloud infrastructure strategy (AWS, GCP, Azure, or Hybrid) — balancing performance against operational cost, with a real eye on the bill - Select and lock in the tech stack: programming languages (Go, C++, Java, Node.js), processing models (Microservices vs. Monolith), database architecture (SQL/NoSQL), and caching layers (Redis, Memcached) - Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems targeting 99.99% availability - Implement security infrastructure: DDoS mitigation, in-game anti-cheat, and end-to-end user data protection - Standardize CI/CD pipelines to support zero-downtime game updates and hotfixes - Work alongside the executive team on the tradeoff between time-to-market and system stability — this is a business seat, not just a technical one

- 10+ years in software engineering, with at least 3–5 years as CTO, Head of Engineering, or Solution Architect in Game Online - Proven track record shipping and operating server-side infrastructure for at least one large-scale product (measured in concurrent users, not just MAU) - Deep expertise in network protocols (TCP/UDP, WebSocket, HTTP/3) and load balancing mechanisms - Hands-on proficiency with cloud infrastructure management and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) - Strong command of real-time data storage: Redis, Memcached, MongoDB, Cassandra, and optimized SQL - Ability to read cloud billing and make cost-reduction decisions without sacrificing performance - Comfort operating at both the technical depth and the business strategy level — you ll need both in the same meeting
