1. Credit Assessment and Decision Making • Evaluate customers’ applications through financial analysis, credit reports and other risk indicators to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit exposure; • Complete concise credit assessments and make decisions within delegated authority or make recommendation to Line Manager; • Takes ownership of the credit process, making decisions in the best interest of the customer and organization. • Maintain knowledge of all applicable underwriting guidelines by learning any business unit policies and/or guidelines. Provide proactive feedback on potential policy improvements. 2. Documentation Review and Policy Compliance • Examine loan documentations for accuracy and completeness while working with operations and sales staff to secure all required documents. • Conduct detailed review of financial statements, credit reports, and all other supporting documentation to ensure that credit criteria are upheld. • Ensure all credit approvals comply with internal credit policy, regulatory standards, and audit requirements. • Assist in the preparation of documentation and corporate financial analysis for high-value credit applications. • Coordinate with relevant departments to detect cases of falsification and escalate issues where necessary. 3. Cross-functional Collaboration • Provide exemplary customer service to both internal staff and external customers by explaining credit decisions and offering alternative options when needed.
• Graduated from University or higher majoring in Banking/ Finance/ Accountant/ Business Administration or other related fields. • From 2-3 years of experience working at a bank/financial institutions in the field of credit appraisal/approvals with specific experience in retail unsecured products. • Analytical thinker with research proficiencies. • Ability to use reasonable and sound judgment. • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. • Good communication skills, including oral and written. • Proficient in English and Vietnamese. • A keen interest in green energy or knowledge of solar energy systems is an advantage (not a prerequisite).
