Job Overview And Responsibility

You will own the full product lifecycle for content modules — including trending search cards, curated fact cards, editorial feeds, and homepage layouts — on Microsoft's MSN platform and Edge browser's New Tab Page, serving users across multiple international markets. Working closely with Microsoft's overseas product, engineering, and editorial teams in English, you will design, test, and launch features that meet real user needs and regional content requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: •Design and plan new content feature modules (e.g., hot search cards, interesting fact cards, editorial feed sections) for the MSN homepage and Edge NTP, balancing user experience with content innovation. •Drive feature requirements, development, QA, and launch in close collaboration with Microsoft's overseas technical and product teams — primarily in English across time zones. •Conduct user research and validate creative ideas tailored to different markets; ensure features meet localization and regional content requirements. •Define success metrics, track post-launch performance, analyze product data, and produce actionable iteration plans based on KPIs. •Manage vendor communication, cross-team collaboration, and project coordination to support Microsoft's global editorial product roadmap. •Stay current on industry trends in content discovery, personalized feeds, and editorial product design; continuously propose data-backed, innovative solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

•Bachelor's degree or higher; 3+ years of experience •Proven hands-on experience designing content: homepage layout, editorial feed, channel design, or content card modules on live consumer-facing platforms. •Overseas education or work experience in an English-speaking market. •English proficiency B2+/near-C1 or above — able to independently host cross-timezone meetings, clarify requirements, and draft PRDs and professional emails in English. •Experience delivering cross-country or multi-market projects (global rollout, localization, cross-region collaboration); ability to clearly describe the full lifecycle from design to launch to data iteration. •Strong data analysis proficiency; able to propose and defend optimization plans based on product KPIs. •Deep understanding of content consumption habits in US / European markets — news formats, trending topics, card UX preferences. •Background from major publishers, media companies, or large content platforms (news, social feed, video). •Experience with AIGC / AI-assisted content: auto-summarization, tagging, trending list generation, or content quality assessment.

• Experience in content ecosystems (e.g., text, short/long-form videos) with companies like Tencent, ByteDance, or overseas platforms. • Product management experience at a top publisher (BuzzFeed, Vice, HuffPost, Yahoo, Axel Springer, Ringier) or content platform (Spotify, Netflix content side, Reddit, Pinterest, Flipboard). • Familiarity with personalized recommendation systems, feed ranking logic, or editorial curation workflows at scale. • Prior collaboration with US or EU market editorial or product teams.
