Job Overview And Responsibility

Overview: We are seeking a diligent and experienced Corporate Paralegal with knowledge in Company Law. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the organization& compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations and assist in Corporate Secretarial Practice. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong regulatory knowledge, and effective communication skills. We will provide training and guidance to employees on AML/CFT and KYC compliance requirements and procedures. Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive corporate secretarial support, including maintaining corporate records, drafting board resolutions, and managing regulatory filings. - Conduct legal research and analysis on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and AML/CFT/KYC requirements. - Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of AML/CFT and KYC policies, procedures, and controls. - Conduct thorough due diligence on clients, customers, and counterparties to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate financial crime risks. - Monitor and investigate suspicious activities, transactions, and behaviors in accordance with AML/CFT regulations and internal policies. - Prepare and submit suspicious activity reports (SARs) to relevant regulatory authorities as necessary. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, compliance, and risk management teams, to address compliance issues and implement remedial actions. - Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to corporate governance, AML/CFT, and KYC.

Required Skills and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field. - At least 2 years of experience in corporate secretarial compliance and paralegal work, preferably in a regulated industry such as finance, banking, or legal services. - Strong aptitude for understanding AML/CFT and KYC regulations, standards, and industry practices. - Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
