We are looking for a talented Chinese Social Media Specialist who is also fluent in English and has a strong background in creating engaging content for social media platforms popular in China, such as WeChat, RED, Douyin, and Weibo. This is a remote opportunity. Key Responsibilities: ● KOC/KOL coordination: Scout KOCs to generate impactful User-Generated Content (UGC). ● Content localisation: Localise content by assisting in preparing content for websites and other digital channels. ● Social media calendar: Collaborate with the team and create monthly calendars for social media platforms. Populate the calendars by writing engaging quality content to build an engaging community online. ● Assist the Design team: Coordinate closely with the design team to ensure creatives are aesthetically pleasing and localised for the Chinese markets. ● ORM and backend support: Provide support for managing amber's official accounts, including publishing content, ORM management, resolving post restrictions, and understanding platform rules and functionalities. ● WeChat article design: Design and format engaging articles for WeChat, maintaining the brand's voice and style. ● Growth hacks: Pitch ideas and improvements to meet and over-achieve targets for social media platforms.

Required Skills and Experience

● Native Mandarin speaker from Mainland China, fluent in English. ● Proven experience in copywriting and social media management (2+ years), specifically for Chinese platforms (WeChat, RED, Douyin, Weibo, Baidu, Bilibili etc.). ● SEO knowledge is a must. Candidate must be able to do keyword research and optimise content for search engine ranking. ● Creative and able to produce engaging and original content. ● Excellent communication and collaboration skills. ● Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
