Job Overview And Responsibility
The Purchasing Executive is responsible for the purchases allocated to him/her and to ensure it is adhered to the company purchase guidelines and policies. Key Responsibilities - Source for materials globally - Negotiation for the most competitive price - Negotiate for the most competitive term and conditions - Monitoring the delivery of the purchased equipment or items - Ensure the equipment or items purchased meets the specification given. - Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials and equipment.
Required Skills and Experience
- Diploma / Degree in relevant Engineering / Supply Chain Mgt - Knowledge on local and overseas sources for materials and equipment’s. - Knowledge on markets pricing for material and equipment. - Effective negotiation skills - Knowledge on the use of commercial documents used in purchasing (L.C., BG’s, Etc.) - Knowledge of SAP for generating of Purchase Order - Fluent English
