Job Overview And Responsibility
- Lead and implement security measures for our backend infrastructure, ensuring the protection of user data and platform integrity - Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing of backend systems - Design and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms - Monitor and respond to security incidents and threats in real-time - Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures - Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle
Required Skills and Experience
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years focused on security engineering - Must be willing to travel to Vietnam multiple times per year for team meetings and strategic planning - B.S. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience - Strong experience with security frameworks, cryptography, and secure coding practices - Expertise in implementing OAuth, JWT, and other authentication protocols - Deep understanding of common security vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10) and mitigation strategies - Experience with security tools, SIEM systems, and threat detection mechanisms - Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices (AWS, GCP, or Azure) - Experience with containerization security and Kubernetes security patterns - Excellent communication skills in English for collaboration with global teams - Experience in the gaming industry, particularly with multiplayer game backends and anti-cheat systems, is highly valuable. - Knowledge of blockchain technology, Web3 security practices, and experience securing smart contracts are significant plusses for this position.
