Job Overview And Responsibility

As a Full-Stack UI Designer at NYB, your primary responsibilities will include: Product UI Design - Create visually engaging user interfaces for NYB’s AIDD platform using Figma. - Design pixel-perfect components, icons, dashboards, and visual elements. - Maintain and evolve a cohesive UI component library and design tokens. - Apply consistent visual standards across typography, color, spacing, and iconography. - Work closely with engineers to ensure accurate, high-fidelity implementation. Website UI & Front-End Design - Design, build, and update responsive web pages in Webflow. - Create interaction animations, transitions, and micro-interactions aligned with NYB’s brand. - Ensure visual consistency and performance across devices and screen sizes. - Collaborate with marketing to create landing pages optimized for communication clarity and brand aesthetics. Marketing & Brand Visual Design - Develop marketing materials including graphics, infographics, decks, banners, and campaign visuals. - Design conference assets such as posters, booth displays, and product visuals. - Support social media visuals and branding for LinkedIn and company announcements. - Translate scientific concepts into clean and accessible visual diagrams. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with product managers, engineers, and scientific teams to understand functional requirements. - Provide design assets, specifications, and visual documentation to support development workflows. - Maintain high visual consistency across product, web, and marketing channels.

Required Skills and Experience

Design Foundations: - Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, or equivalent experience. - 2–6+ years of experience in UI design, digital design, or visual communication. - Strong portfolio demonstrating UI excellence, interface aesthetics, and polished visual design. Technical Expertise: - Advanced proficiency in Figma (components, variants, auto-layout, grids, design tokens). - Hands-on experience with Webflow; knowledge of HTML/CSS fundamentals is a plus. - Strong command of layout, typography, color theory, iconography, and component styling. - Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent tools. - Ability to prepare pixel-perfect assets and handoff specifications to engineering. Collaboration & Communication: - Ability to communicate design rationale clearly and concisely. - Comfortable working with technical teams and translating requirements into visual solutions. - Ability to learn and visually interpret scientific or technical content.

Preferred skills and experiences
