Job Overview And Responsibility
1. Data Science development and consultation - Advanced level of data analysis using scientific methods, statistical tools, and AI based on time series data. To define predictive algorythms and potentially automate decision making with AI. - Identifies, evaluates and prepares data for analysis and selects the right algorythms for the task at hand. - Explores and identifies patterns in data and makes them utilizable for business stakeholders. - Communicates valuable insights as well as risks and recommends actions. - Takes care of proper verification, validation, testing, monitoring and documentation. - Able to work with external data science experts to implement advanced statistical models and AI solutions. 2. Provide training - Develop and maintain training program for internal plant training for basic skill development - Conduct yearly in-house trainings for managers and engineers - Coaching of engineers in their data analytics project 3. Data Analytics development and consultation - Works out the requirements with the stakeholder and consults what is viable, feasible and desirable - Delivers results and reports to create transparency in business performance for stakeholders - Validates and analyzes data to build data models for visual representation in business perspective - Documents and provides transparency how data analysis was conducted and ensures quality/reproducibility
Required Skills and Experience
Education: - Having a Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Computer Science, Applied Statistics, Mathematics, electronics, automation or data related areas. Work experiences: - Prefer >5 years’ working experience as same role in factory environment - Possess knowledge of statistical and predictive modeling concepts, machine learning approaches, Deep learning techniques, data mining, clustering and classification techniques, recommendation and optimization algorithms - Experience in programming languages, network, database and IT matter incl. international standards - Knowledge in data modelling, data access and data transformation. Traits and Skills: - Initiative and mindset with high ownership - High motivation in discovery, creation/development of new things or system - Result oriented - Able to work independently with less coaching & self-motivation - Possess good work ethic, attitude with good follow-through and team work - Good communication in written and spoken English incl. presentation - Promotor of digital possibilities related to data use
