Job Overview And Responsibility
Responsible for the end-to-end procurement process from Purchase Request (PR) sourcing to Purchasing Order (PO) issuance to support the needs of Business Units and meet agreed service levels. Key Responsibilities: - Procure goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets - Conduct sourcing/ competitive quotation so as to ensure that the best value is achieved for the company - Evaluate, negotiate and award orders to selected supplier - Ensure that goods and services are timely delivered - Achieve the Service Level Agreements (SLA) of Shared Services Centre (SSC) - Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures - Resolve all price, quality, and delivery or invoice issues - Build, maintain and manage relationships of both internal and external stakeholders - Contribute to the continuous improvement efforts on work process efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience
- Diploma in Business Administration/ Procurement/ Supply Chain Management or equivalent - At least two (2) years of experience in Procurement as a Buyer - SAP Hands-on and Microsoft Office experience - Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication & planning skills
