About Squad The Ronin Protocol Development (a.k.a. Ronin Core Development) team is dedicated to advancing and optimizing the stability and dependability of Ronin. As an EVM chain, Ronin capitalizes on Ethereum's technology and network effects, solidifying its position as the third most utilized blockchain by Daily Active Users (DAU). We are actively engaged in improving security, decentralization, and particularly scalability. We are delving into low-level optimizations across operating systems, virtual machines, databases, and networking to vertically enhance scalability. We are also exploring advanced cryptographic tools (e.g., Zero Knowledge proofs) to horizontally scale the network. Responsibility - Develop Ronin core protocol from the design stage all the way to production-ready implementations. - Study the source code (of Ronin and other EVM chains), propose and implement improvements. - Design, build, maintain, test, and improve Ronin consensus and coordinating services to power our networks. - Improve the design of peer’s architecture through thoughtful, professionally communicated feedback. - Contribute to open-source projects and play a role in building out the crypto ecosystem at large.

Keahlian dan pengalaman yang dibutuhkan

- At least a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering/ Information Technology, or experience in related fields. - At least 5 years of relevant experience as a software engineer (with a focus on blockchain development) - Solid experience in developing applications with Golang - Solid knowledge and work experience in computing theory including OS, data structures, algorithms, database theory, and networking. - Demonstrate strong research skills, brainstorming, and ideating on new protocol designs. Help the team to evaluate the feasibility of any scaling solutions and problems. - Show strong problem-solving, time management, and project management skills to allocate personnel and resources for projects. - Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work. - Strong communication and teamwork skills.
