Tester QA/QC Testing / QA
- Perform final release tests for new versions of our product to ensure proper functionality, logical consistency, and intelligibility of products. - Maintain, develop, and enhance automatic test routines to optimize testing processes. - Conduct testing on various hardware platforms, including tablets, PCs, docking stations, and smartphones. - Reproduce software errors reliably and provide detailed documentation to facilitate understanding and resolution of issues. - Communicate clearly and effectively to ensure accurate reporting of problems for timely fixes. - Document errors and related information in the internal system for tracking and analysis. - Verify the resolution of reported issues after developers address them. - Contribute to the internal Knowledge Base, capturing the evolving functionality and features of our product.
We're looking for applicants with a high level of self-motivation. This position requires fluency in both written and spoken English. Our testing department is still growing, which allows you to influence and build up your own working environment. 1. A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. ** Education for those who relocate to Berlin: - EU citizens – no restrictions - Others, who don't have an EU passport - are required to have a technical university degree (starting from a bachelor) or 3 years of proven IT experience (both are needed for visa purposes only) 2. Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a similar role. 3. Technical Skills: - Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks. - Understanding of software development processes and methodologies. - Knowledge of various hardware platforms (tablets, PCs, smartphones, etc.). 3. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail for identifying and reproducing software errors. 4. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and reporting (English) 5. Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take initiative in structuring tasks. 6. Team Collaboration: Experience working in a collaborative environment with developers and other stakeholders. 7. Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and testing methodologies.
