Role Overview: We are seeking a Social Media Specialist with a strategic mindset and proven leadership skills to oversee our social media vertical in Mainland China. This role requires a blend of strategic planning, team leadership, and deep knowledge of Chinese social media platforms. Responsibilities: 1. Lead the development and execution of comprehensive social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement across platforms like WeChat, RED, Douyin, and Weibo. 2. Oversee the creation and management of a social media content calendar, ensuring consistency and relevance of content. 3. Coordinating with designers and copywriters to align all communications. 4. Drive community engagement strategies, including interaction with audiences and key opinion leaders. 5. Engage the community by replying to comments and managing enquiries coming via the platforms. 6. Analyse platform algorithms to maximise content reach and effectiveness. 7. Utilise analytics to inform strategies, reporting on metrics and making data-driven adjustments. 8. Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in social media, particularly within the Chinese market. 9.Foster collaboration across marketing and other departments to ensure integrated campaign execution.
Required Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in social media management, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful campaigns on Chinese platforms like WeChat, RED, Douyin, and Weibo. (4+ years of experience) - Fluent in English and Mandarin, with exceptional communication skills. - In-depth understanding of social media algorithms and strategic content planning. - Strong analytical skills to interpret social media data and insights.
