Position Summary The Director of Admissions is responsible for developing and executing the school’s overall enrollment strategy, with a primary focus on recruiting international students to study in Lào Cai. This role requires a senior-level professional with a proven track record in global student recruitment, international education management, or institutional admissions leadership. The position plays a critical role in strengthening the school’s brand presence in both domestic and international markets, establishing sustainable recruitment channels, and ensuring an efficient, transparent, and world-class admissions process. Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement strategic enrollment plans to achieve annual and long-term student recruitment targets. - Lead international student recruitment initiatives in alignment with the school’s vision and growth strategy. - Establish and manage partnerships with overseas education agents, global schools, universities, embassies, cultural exchange organizations, and government bodies. - Oversee the full admissions lifecycle from inquiry to enrollment, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements. - Represent the school at international education fairs, conferences, exhibitions, and recruitment missions. - Develop marketing and recruitment campaigns targeted at foreign students and parents in collaboration with the Communications team. - Provide regular analytics, enrollment forecasts, and strategic reports to the Board of Directors. - Build, train, and manage an Admissions team capable of delivering high-performance outcomes. - Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure seamless onboarding, visa support, housing arrangements, and student services for admitted international students.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Education, Business, International Relations, or related field. - Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience in admissions, international recruitment, higher education, or educational consultancy. - Demonstrated success in recruiting international students into academic institutions. - Strong knowledge of global education markets, recruitment channels, visa processes, and stakeholder relations. - Excellent command of English (written and verbal). Additional languages are an advantage. - Leadership experience in a corporate, academic, or multinational environment. - Strong analytical, strategic planning, and data-driven decision-making abilities. - Willingness to relocate and work full-time in Lào Cai, Vietnam. - Able to do domestic and international business trips.
