Job Overview And Responsibility

We are looking for a Mid/Senior Full-stack engineer (backend-focused) to help us build the future of the Swiss real estate market by contributing to our cutting-edge, cloud-based technology stack. Together, we tackle challenges, celebrate successes, and keep learning and growing. Our tech stack - Our frontend is implemented with Vue.js / React, with Typescript as the language of choice. It consists of a mix of client-side, server-side, pre-rendered, and hybrid web apps. - Our backend is written in Node.js and Typescript, following a serverless and microservices architecture in a cloud-based environment using AWS. Our main services leverage Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and S3, among others. - Our monitoring is done mainly through Datadog. - We adopt the latest developments in AI technology and expect our staff to embrace the innovation offered by large language models. - Learn more about us and our engineering practices in our blog at https://medium.com/smg-real-estate Your Mission: - Innovate, design, implement, and deploy engineering solutions. - Contribute to projects and participate in planning, execution, and success. - Ask questions, brainstorm, and own the product we are building. - Work closely with the product and solve our users’ problems by building the best products. - Be part of the team and establish credibility with the quality of your own and your team’s technical execution. - Your responsibilities will evolve as we grow.

Required Skills and Experience

It would be best if you also had most of these: - 3+ years of experience in software development. - Prior working experience with Javascript / Typescript and Node.js. - Prior working experience with APIs and microservices. - Prior working experience with frontend frameworks like Vue.js, React, or similar. - Prior working experience with cloud service providers like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud. - We value the skills you bring and your ability to learn quickly, so don’t worry if your career path has been unique.
