Job Overview And Responsibility
As a Data Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include: - Design and manage cloud and hybrid-cloud infrastructure, with hands-on experience in AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, EKS, Lambda) - Build and maintain ETL and data-processing pipelines (NiFi, Kafka, Spark, Flink, Airflow) - Implement cloud networking, storage, and security best practices - Develop and operate observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry) - Automate infrastructure and deployment workflows using CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions) - Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, on-prem) - Collaborate with AI, data, and backend teams to ensure reliable, scalable services - Manage metadata and lineage with Apache Atlas - Support hybrid compute environments, including GPU workloads and HPC clusters - Contribute to backend and occasional full-stack development for internal tools and automation
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field - 3+ years of experience in DevOps, systems engineering, or cloud infrastructure - Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and Kubernetes - Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar) - Solid understanding of distributed systems and data processing pipelines - Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) - Experience with HPC, GPU computing, or large-scale data workloads - Familiarity with modern data lakehouse technologies (Hudi, Iceberg) - Good English skills.
