Advance Vietnam is hunting for a sharp-eyed Senior Credit Management who can spot trouble long before it reaches the balance sheet. Reporting straight to the Country Head, you’ll own the credit‐risk playbook—designing rigorous, data-driven underwriting standards, challenging weak proposals, and safeguarding our SME portfolio while still pushing for sustainable growth. Credit policy for Vietnam market 1. Design policies, workflows, covering the entire loan lifecycle: underwriting, approval, disbursement, monitoring, and recovery. 2. Update the framework regularly to reflect the firm’s risk appetite, regulatory changes, and NPL targets. Underwrite & Approve Applications 1. Independently review credit proposals from Business Development, ensuring every deal meets risk standards. Portfolio Monitoring & NPL Management 1. Build a report system to closely track the financial health of existing borrowers, spot early-warning signals, and launch preventive actions (restructuring, early collection). 2. Own the company-wide NPL target; report promptly to the Country Head and recommend corrective measures. Cross-Functional Coordination & Risk Culture 1. Serve as the key link with Business Development, Customer Success - CS and IT to keep credit processes seamless. 2. Manage risk-related projects coordination with other team members
1. Business and Financial Analyst: Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments of SME financials, cash-flow volatility, and collateral strength—applying both quantitative models and qualitative judgment to propose approval decision base on independent thinking and reasoning. 2. Data analyst and reporting: Skill in setting and monitoring NPL targets, detecting early-warning signals, modelling loss-given-default scenarios, and executing restructuring or recovery strategies to safeguard profitability and capital adequacy. 3. People Leadership & Coaching: Competence in recruiting, coaching, and mentoring Credit Officers / Analysts, fostering a high-performance culture where every team member understands and adheres to credit-risk principles. 4. Project management: Ability to proactively lead credit-related projects such as portfolio reviews, policy updates, or system enhancements; ensuring timelines are met, cross-functional coordination is effective, and risk management direction is followed. 5.
