Job Overview And Responsibility
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (1) Financial Operations & Bookkeeping - Manage daily financial transactions key-in and ensure accurate entries in the ERP system - monthly closing processes, including inventory reconciliation and reporting (2) Audit & Tax Compliance - Prepare and finalize financial statements (Local GAAP & IFRS) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis - Coordinate with external auditors, ensuring timely and complete documentation - Support tax filing processes in compliance with local regulations - Act as the signing authority for audit reports and financial statements as Senior Accountant, ensuring accuracy and compliance (3) Accounts Payable & Disbursement - Review and validate invoices, ensuring accuracy in VAT and WHT calculations - Manage supplier onboarding and payment workflows through ERP and banking platforms - Prepare and submit payment requests, ensuring proper approvals and documentation (4) Accounts Receivable & Cash Monitoring - Monitor incoming payments and reconcile bank statements - Ensure timely processing of customer invoices and follow-up on outstanding receivables (5) Corporate Card & Asset Management - Administer corporate card usage and ensure proper documentation of transactions - Maintain integrity of financial records through timely resolution of card transaction variances. - Manage fixed assets from an accounting perspective, ensuring alignment with financial reporting standards and accurate reconciliation with financial records.
Required Skills and Experience
WORK EXPERIENCE - 6-10 years of relevant experience in financial management roles, preferably within a multinational company (MNC). - Prior professional experience at an accounting firm is preferred - Understanding of the pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical industry from a financial or accounting perspective SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English - Relevant accounting certification is required (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) - Advanced knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting practices - Detail-oriented, accurate, and diligent personality - Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments - Proficiency in Microsoft Office EDUCATION - Bachelor's Degree, Major in accounting preferred
