Job Overview And Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python. - Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. - Optimize performance and scalability of the backend systems to handle large volumes of data and high traffic. - Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following best practices in software development. - Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and junior developers. - Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of services. - Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. - Contribute to the architecture and design of new features and enhancements to the platform. - Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply them to improve our systems.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - 4+ years of professional software development experience, especially in a product company environment. - Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms. - Solid understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns. - Experience in backend development. - Experience with Python, Django, and Celery. - Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis). - Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. - Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
