Job Overview And Responsibility
We are looking for a highly driven and motivated Senior Data Analyst to join the Group Risk and Assurance team in Vietnam. Reporting to Singapore Senior Manager, Risk and Assurance, this is a critical role in analysing and interpreting complex data sets to provide actionable insights that drive our risk management and assurance strategies. This individual will work closely with the Hiring Manager and other stakeholders to develop data models, perform data analysis, and support the implementation of analytic initiatives to achieve goals in our Data analytics journey. Key Responsibilities • Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to risk and assurance. • Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to support decision-making processes. • Collaborate with the Risk and Assurance team to understand data requirements and deliver insights that address key business questions. • Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling to assess risks and opportunities. • Create and present data visualizations that effectively communicate findings to stakeholders. • Support the development and implementation of data-driven strategies and initiatives. • Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing best practices for data management. • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of analytic initiatives and recommend improvements. • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data analytics and risk management.
Required Skills and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. • Minimum 5-8 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in risk management or audit. • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Python, R, and Excel. • Extensive experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar. • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain interactive dashboards. • Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques. • Experience in continuous monitoring of risks and control weaknesses • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. • Strong knowledge of data quality, data governance, and data security principles and practices • Strong communication skills with the ability to present data insights to non-technical stakeholders. • Attention to detail and a commitment to data quality and accuracy. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities. • Self-driven, pro-active and capable of probing for solution • Adaptability and willingness to learn. • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.

Preferred skills and experiences
• Experience with machine learning techniques and frameworks is a plus. • Knowledge of prompt engineering and natural language processing is desirable. • Experience in Big Four, regulated, government industry or with Fraud, Audit, Compliance and Risk management processes is a plus.
